Ponds, Wells, Algae bloom

Especially in the summer months when temperatures are high, the dissolved oxygen content in water bodies drops below 3 mg/ltr. Below this limit, fish and microorganisms die off.

The high temperatures favor algae growth and also algae blooms. At this stage, many algae release toxins that are also dangerous to humans; bathing is then prohibited in these waters.

APW masters and generates cavitation in a controlled process (see APW The Inventors). The implosion of the cavitation bubbles releases large amounts of energy (5,000 °C / 1,000 bar) in a very small space (micrometer).

The released kinetic energy acts directly on the cell walls of algae, bacteria and viruses and destroys them.

The implosion of the cavitation bubbles creates shock waves that further disintegrate the algae and float the fragments to the surface of the water where they can be collected.

Over time and depending on the size of the waters, the effect expands from the intake and inlet points.

With the APW technology, purely physical processes - without the use of chemicals - completely and permanently renaturalize water bodies and prevent the formation of new algae.
